Harry Ross founded The Area Rug Store almost 13 years ago in East Winnipeg (Lagimodiere Blvd) and it ran successfuly for many years. The Area Rug Store "Factory Outlet" recently opened at 1512 St. James St. in Central Winnipeg.

Having a more central and convenient location better serves Area Rug Store customers. The new location offers 5,000 sq.ft. on one level of display space where over 1,000 Area Rugs of all styles, shapes, and sizes can be viewed. Natural wool, sisal and jute rugs are featured. Machine made area rugs including brand new 2004 models in rounds, ovals, runners, and 6 rectangles sizes, 3X5, 4X6, 5X8, 7X10, 8X11 and 9X13 are available. Prices range from $29.99 to over $1,000.00 per rug with factory direct to you pricing guaranteed to be the lowest in Winnipeg.

The Area Rug Store Factory Outlet also specializes in Laminate flooring of all styles and price points. Cork Tile, a new English vinyl tile that resembles stone and slate is proudly displayed. The store offers Ceramic Floor and Wall Tiles as well.

Harry's 40+ years of experience has developed several relationships with the best pool of professionals (including carpet, laminate, cermaic tile installers) in the city. All installations are personally guaranteed by Harry.
